Holy Habits

What are Holy Habits? No I'm not talking about the traditional Nun garments. I'm talking about our daily repetitive behavior that leads us to a closer walk with God.  Larry got us off to a good start in yesterday's sermon the 7 verbs (shout, serve, come, know, enter, give and bless) of Psalm 100 about giving thanks.  I have found a short skit on You Tube that puts our holy habits into perspective.  I hope you enjoy it:

From the video the 5 holy habits are Prayer, Bible Readings, Service, Celebration & Giving - these sound very familiar to Larry's sermon.  More to come be on the lookout tomorrow.

Psalm 100 (NASB)

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.
